11. Portfolio

Good evening visitors of the Dutch lake house,

The template for showing a neat overview of current performance is not yet completed (getting there!).
To give you already an overview of what my portfolio consists of I have listed just a few below:

Want to know more? Feel free to hop by every now and again!
Important tickers of shares I own are listed below: (randomly)

OAKS
HAL
DHF
PSEC
MORL
AAPL

As you see, there is some odd ones in here that you might not expect in an investorÅ› portfolio, but remember I am also here to learn. summing up:

  • I’ve got some Apple (AAPL) in there (not purpously bought for their dividends, they began sharing in well being only this year? (Was it?)
  • Halliburton (HAL) is maybe an interesting one. Having come from quite a rough period where Oil has not really come back to the bulls it might take a while before all Oil related suppliers and partners start to take benefits again.

There might be some fairly unknown ones in here:

  • ETRACS Monthly Pay 2x Mortg REIT ETN, started as my personal gamble fund but already soon proved to be one of the big shots paying out reasonable dividends over time (monthly, but quarterly a larger amount)
  • Five Oaks Investment Corp. (OAKS) and Dreyfus High Yield Strategies Fund (DHF) where both of them are reasonably boring stocks, they do pay out well.

Bear with me (not going to make silly word jokes about bears or bulls here) for until I can show my statistics for 2016!

Now I have to go and run my weekly round for exercise!

Kind regards and hopefully see you soon.

P.S. please let me know your thoughts with the above stocks, I value all input!

The Dutch Lake House.
